The Optimist Pram is the perfect boat for any Wetfeet or intro to sailing junior program. Being rotomolded (polyethylene hull) they are super durable, built to last and nearly indestructible. We all know how nerve wracking it is to see new-to-sailing kids jump in a good condition fiberglass Opti and in no time they are getting smashed around and cracks and damage starts to appear, then we are chasing our tails every season with repairs. Not an issue with these! They are obviously not class legal standard Optimists for racing but for entry level and learn to sail, they are hands down the best possible choice for any program and a significant cost savings on top of that.
